Maritex is a premium plain bearing material for high load low speed applications

A unique combination of fibre, resin and lubricants gives extended life and better shaft support

There is no better plain marine bearing material currently available for rudders or water lubricated shafts, as a result of our confidence in this respect we are happy to have Maritex compared directly to any other composite or plastic bearing material

Arctic and arctic extreme grades offer thermal expansion rates to mimic metal carriers

Maritex can be supplied in tube, square, hollow square, discs or sheets. It machines easily without dust and virtually no smell, producing a swarf that is not flammable. You can download a machining calculator from the panel on the left.
